This article described potential problems related to age in order improve performance in voting and examined the ability of voters to cast votes accurately, timely, and efficiently. The differences were more sensitive to sight design and interface distinctions because of physical, perceptual, and cognitive changes associated with age. It was clear that with better planning and selection of voting technologies, it could eliminate many of the observed problems.
