This article asserts that how a person with disabilities vote is just as important as the physical barriers they face when casting their votes. For this reason, attention to problems encountered in their interactions with poll workers and other local election officials was brought to light. New voting technologies have only augmented the arguments around voting for those with disabilities. In the end, the article discussed an emphasis in voting policies versus voting practices.
