- Four large constraints older adults dealt with: intrapersonal, interpersonal, structural, and functional constraints
Explored barriers that older adults come across when using computer-mediated information technology at different age segments, ranging between the age of 50 to 93 years old, in order to enhance their quality of life. The authors also explored whether or not there was a relationship between constraint factors and demographic or socio-economic variables. The results suggested there were four large constraints older adults dealt with: intrapersonal, interpersonal, structural, and functional constraints. At different age stages, different barriers were introduced.
